The money would certainly be there...I just think Paul wants to have nice weather and mingle with celebrities in clubs...Maybe Paul is a huge Steve Carell fan or Matt Damon fan and he'd reconsider, lol.

Well, I think we all know that's the master plan.  The question is whether Danny can make lightning strike twice within five years.  

If he can, he should be talked about as one of the greatest GMs of all time.  

Most other championship level GMs just get lucky in the draft.  Danny would've turned a bad team into a champion overnight and then turned what would've soon been another bad team into another contender overnight.  

Still, it's a very, very long shot.  But it's likely the best shot we have to be great again anytime soon after this year.

I guess one thing that you all can do to keep the ESPN trade machines whirring is whether there is some deal *now* that Danny can make to swing both CP and DH. Obviously it would have to involve not just Rondo but also KG and Ray and probably involve taking back a heinous contract or two....

If you are Danny Ainge, you go all in on a deal for Chris Paul to set up the potential deal for Dwight Howard. We are talking about a championship window that is probably twice if not three times as long as what everyone expected when he did the Ray Allen and KG deals.

I don't see this panning out as DH12 will likely be traded before he hits free agency next year, and will likely sign an extension with the team he is dealt to. I just don't see a "CP3 to BOS" situation with DH12 (in that the team trading for him will not require an extensin).
