Dunleavy would be an absolute STEAL for the veteran minimum.

Yeah, if Dunleavy can't get a contract north of the vet minimum, there's something wrong with the league.  This guy is a very productive player.  And hey, with his recent injury issues, he'd fit right in.

I was hoping Dunleavy could agree to an 1+1 full MLE (the mini one, of course) deal with a team like Boston: to have a season as a 6th man for a good team, able to log 25-30 mpg consistently. To play himself into a larger last contract next Summer.

I agree.  And for better or worse, gambles like this are what the C's are now looking at (in terms of health).  However, I think they need to roll the dice on guys like Dunleavy and hope they get lucky.

There aren't many more ways to get impact players.

I'd take a Dunleavy signing and Pryzbilla is a good rebounder and defender.
