First, I think that Paul is likely a more complete player than Rondo.  But even if we were to assume that Rondo and Paul were equals or even if Rondo had a slight edge, Paul offers something that Rondo likely doesn't, the ability to draw other stars here.

Ya because he drew so many stars to play with him in New Orleans.

I am sorry but there is no basis for this claim.  He may draw other star players and he may not.  Same goers for Rondo.  Neither has done so in the past so there is no telling if they could in the future.

I think having a well run organization that drafts well, treat it's players well, has a great, player friendly coach and a GM who has the balls to go for the gold is far more of a draw to other great players then Chris Paul is.  Boston has begun to establish those things again after 20 years of futility but it takes time.

I agree with everything that CelticsFanNC says here, especially about CP3 drawing players to NOH.

I know a lot of the hype is fan-driven, but it seems to me like all of a sudden Chris Paul is becoming another Lebron James, for all of the wrong reasons.

Just my opinion.

What I see developing is that NOH, maybe ORL and NOW NJ are being held hostage by these players....who haven't won anything on their own.

I thought the lockout was supposed to end this?

Rondo is the best play we have.  He plays the best all around game while making his teammates better.  He does this while not forcing his own offense.  Chris Paul is great but I don't believe he would be able to make Ray as effecient as he is with Rondo.
