Is there any way we can get Chandler or Nene without trading KG or Ray?
ie: Big Baby, Jeff Green+ Clippers pick etc?

If it has to be a big four player that is traded for Chandler...ie:
(Mavs get Ray Allen, we get Tyson Chandler)

Starting five:

Rondo
Green
Pierce
KG
Chandler/Nene

Could Green average 18-20ppg to fill the scoring void?

We can then use Chandler/Nene as trade bait for Dwight later down the track+ have a shot at banner 18 this year.
If we don't get Dwight, well we at least have a solid Center with KG coming off books to go after an elite shooting guard or power forward next year.

Tyson Chandler, no, I don't think so. Dallas is in win-now mode. They'll have no interest in that type of trade offer.

Denver and Nene, nah, probably not. The Nuggets might be entering a rebuilding process so it's not inconceivable that they could look for a a package like that in a trade [good prospect + high future pick(s)] ... but with Wilson Chandler and Danilo Gallinari there, does Jeff Green really have any value to them? I don't think so.

I think Dallas could be tempted by Ray Allen ... but I don't think he'd be quite enough to get the job done.

I reckon they'd rate Tyson Chandler higher (his defense being so key to their title run) + Tyson is younger ... but if they were unhappy with the financial terms Tyson was demanding and felt uneasy about re-signing him? Yeah, they might just consider something like this. Maybe.

Since Ray Allen is likely only a one year rental to them, I think Boston would have to include another valuable asset on top of Ray. Probably the Clippers pick. Allowing Dallas to make a run at Deron Williams/Chris Paul or Dwight Howard next summer.

As for Jeff Green's scoring, I view him as a 13-14ppg threat on the wing.

And, the new lineup as a whole, I'd love to watch a team like that. I think it would be fantastic to watch KG and Tyson patrol the paint and dominate the boards. Two big wings too. Plus Rondo's scrappiness. Easily the best defensive team in the league. It could be the best rebounding team too depending on the bench. If so, you'd only need a middle of the road type offense to compete for a title. Doable.

Well yeah the Nuggets not so much, but the Mavs...
They pick up a solid back up 4 in Big baby.
They also get a guy who can start in place for Marion in Jeff Green.
They can then go after Nene by clearing Butler from the books and and some other scrubs off their roster and they'd be laughing.
I'm also interested in whether or not people would pull the trigger on a Ray Allen for Chandler trade.

Exactly what I'm thinking. We'd have Green+Pierce Guarding Miami's big two but we'd also have a much stronger offensive/defensive presence inside. Imagine Bosh+Boozer +Stoudemire dreading the thought of coming up against that tandem of KG+Chandler.
Our interior defense would be so brutal that teams would fear us like it's 2008.

One extended off-season and all of a sudden Celtic Nation has forgotten how AWFUL Jeff Green is?

Short term memories
