Will the lower cap # keep players longer

For example after this season, Deron Williams and Chris Paul have a player option for 17.7 million.  Dwight Howard has one for 19.2 million. 

Will the lower BRI number make it so their next contracts are smaller and as such might they elect to exercise that option rather then become free agents.  I think Paul is the most likely to want out of his current location, but it might be something to think about when all the final numbers of the new CBA come out.
