Here's a fun little game (not really a game).

Copy & Paste this list of all NBA teams.

In you opinion, name who the best player on each team is.

Then separate the two conferences so it's two 15 man teams.

Name your rotations.

Who wins?

Bulls: Rose.
Heat: Lebron.
Celtics: Pierce.
Magic: Howard.
Hawks: Johnson.
Knicks: Stoudemire.
76ers: Iguodala.
Pacers: Granger.
Bucks: Bogut.
Bobcats: Augustin.
Pistons: Prince.
Nets: Williams.
Wizards: Wall.
Raptors: Derozan.
Cavaliers: Varejao.

WEST.

Spurs: Ginobili
Lakers: Kobe
Mavericks: Nowitzki
Thunder: Durant
Nuggets: Nene
Blazers: Aldridge
Hornets: Paul
Grizzles: Randolph
Rockets: Martin
Suns: Nash
Jazz: Millsap
Warriors: Ellis
Clippers: Griffin
Kings: Evans
T-Wolves: Love

Rotations:

West.

Paul, Evans, Nash, Ellis
Kobe, Ginobili, Martin
Durant,
Randolph, Nowitzki, Love, Millsap
Aldridge, Nene, Griffin

East.

Williams, Rose, Wall, Augustin
Johnson, Iguodala, Derozan
Lebron, Pierce, Granger, Prince
Stoudemire,
Howard, Bogut, Varejao

I think the East's starting 5 would work best together, but i'd have to go with the Western squad because of their ridiculous front-court depth. Howard is the best center, but he'd wear out having to bang against Randolph, Love, Aldridge, Nene, and Griffin.

EAST
Bulls: Rose.
Heat: Lebron.
Celtics: rondo.
Magic: Howard.
Hawks: j.smith.
Knicks: MELO.
76ers: j.holiday.
Pacers: Granger.
Bucks: jennings.
Bobcats: k.walker.
Pistons: Prince.
Nets: Williams.
Wizards: Wall.
Raptors: Derozan.

WEST

Spurs: Ginobili
Lakers: Kobe
Mavericks: Nowitzki
Thunder: Durant
Nuggets: Nene
Blazers: Aldridge
Hornets: Paul
Grizzles: Randolph
Rockets: Martin
Suns: Nash
Jazz: Millsap
Warriors: Ellis
Clippers: Griffin
Kings: Evans
T-Wolves:derick williams

EAST ROTATION

PG:Rondo/williams/jrue holiday/irving/wall
SG:Rose/jennings/walker/deroZAN
SF:Lebron/melo(to play more mins & give the east more O)/prince
PF:Melo/j.smith/granger
C:Howard/j.smith(in a small lineup)/

WEST ROTATION
PG:cp3/nash/Ellis
SG:kobe/evans/ginnobli
SF:Durant/martin/derick williams
PF:dirk/aldridge/millsap/griffin
C:Randoplh/nene

EAST demolishes the west ,

younger more athletic & the mix of offence(james, rose, melo) mixed with defence(howard, rondo, james, price) is a perfect blend of talents

they should seriously do this for the all star team more fun, more competitive & every team gets represented
though i would be worried about dirk & randpolh having a field day as the east is undersized at the PF

fun game TP

Rockets: Martin Scola
Suns: Nash
Jazz: Millsap

Clippers: Griffin

T-Wolves: Love

I could have gone with a couple of different people with the Detroit Pistons. A lot of similar level talent at the top of their roster. Since I had a lot of players at small forward, I decided to go with a guard and since that player wasn't going to start I decided to roll with Ben Gordon.

East

PG - Deron, Rose, Calderon and Wall
OG - Joe Johnson, Iggy and Ben Gordon
SF - LeBron, Melo, Granger
PF - Garnett, Varejao and Tyrus
C  - Dwight, Bogut

West

PG - Nash, Paul and Steph Curry
OG - Kobe, Ginobili and Tyreke
SF - Durant
PF - Nowitzki, Blake Griffin, Z-Bo, Millsap, Scola and K-Love
C  - Aldridge, Nene

Conclusion

The East has far more balance in terms of defense, rebounding and depth per position.

The Garnett + Dwight connection defensively gives them one heck of a backbone defensively and then they have Bogut and Varejao backing them up. That defensive spine is far greater than anything the West can offer. They also have more size and depth at both the wing positions.

You also look at the rebounding difference between Dwight and Garnett vs Aldridge and Dirk plus Bogut vs Nene. Big advantage for the East in terms of possession creation (turnovers + rebounding).

The West, though, has incredible offensive cohesion.

Having LaMarcus Aldridge at center gives them the most skilled offensive center in the league. His ability to post up, step away from the basket and hit midrange + long range jumpers, play the pick and pop/roll game ... gives the West an enviable weapon. Someone to keep Dwight Howard occupied and will help create space for everyone else on the West's roster.

Especially alongside such dynamic offensive threats as Dirk Nowitzki, Kevin Durant and Steve Nash ... and to a lesser degree, your Manu Ginobilis, Steph Currys and Kobe Bryants ... The playmaking of Nash alongside those shooters (big men = Dirk, Aldridge, wings = Durant, Manu and Kobe) will be incredibly difficult to defend effectively.

In comparison, the East's offense will be a lot easier to stymie. Unfortunately though, the West doesn't really have the defense or rebounding to take full advantage of this.

In conclusion, I think the East will grind it out.

Winner = East

One note before I give it a try: Nene is a free agent.  I don't think he should be allowed as the Nuggets best player.

East:

ATL-J. Smith
BOS-R. Rondo
CHA-T. Thomas
CHI-D. Rose
CLE-A. Varejao
DET-G. Monroe
IND-D. Granger
MIA-L. James
MIL-A. Bogut
NJN-D. Williams
NYK-A. Stoudemire
ORL-D. Howard
PHI-A. Iguodala
TOR-A. Bargnani
WAS-J. Wall

Starters:

Rondo
D. Williams
James
Stoudemire
Howard

Bench:

Rose, Wall
Iguodala
D. Granger, J. Smith
Varejao, T. Thomas, Bargnani
Monroe, Bogut

West:

DAL-D. Nowitzki
DEN-D. Gallinari
GSW-M. Ellis
HOU-L. Scola
LAC-B. Griffin
LAL-K. Bryant
MEM-Z. Randolph
MIN-K. Love
NOH-C. Paul
OKC-K. Durant
PHO-S. Nash
POR-L. Aldridge
SAC-T. Evans
SAS-M. Ginobili
UTA-A. Jefferson

Starters:

C. Paul
K. Bryant
K. Durant
D. Nowitzki
A. Jefferson

Bench:

S. Nash
T. Evans, M. Ellis
M. Ginobili, D. Galinari
B. Griffin, L. Aldridge, Z. Randolph, K. Love
L. Scola

East in seven. The West sure has some fire power, but they don't have enough interior defense.
DKC Seventy-Sixers:

PG: G. Hill/D. Schroder
SG: C. Lee/B. Hield/T. Luwawu
SF:  Giannis/J. Lamb/M. Kuzminskas
PF:  E. Ilyasova/J. Jerebko/R. Christmas
C:    N. Vucevic/K. Olynyk/E. Davis/C. Jefferson
