According to Yahoo's Adrian Wojnarowski, Golden State Warriors restricted free-agent forward Reggie Williams has signed a one-year, $1.5 million contract with Caja Laboral Vitoria of the Spanish ACB League.

The deal includes a $1 million buyout if Williams wants to return to the NBA this season. Under the NBA’s previous collective bargaining agreement, NBA teams could contribute up to $500,000 to buy out a player’s overseas contract.

The Warriors tendered a qualifying offer to Williams in June, but I have no idea on how that impacts this contract?

Reggie averaged 9.2 points, 2.7 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 20.3 minutes per game, ranked 9th in three point shooting percentage, and made $760,000 last season.

same way Josh Childress was affected.  Pretty much not at all, it just means Golden State will hold his rights when he decides to come back.

Unrestricted Bucks free agent Chris Douglas Roberts has signed a one year deal with Italian team Virtus Bologna.

It has been reported and the team has confirmed that there is no NBA opt-out clause in Douglas-Roberts' contract. He's in Italy for the year.

Last season, his third in the league, the 6'7" swingman averaged 7.3 points on 43% shooting, 1.8 rebound and 1.1 assists in 20 minutes per game.

Good for him.  He will be a much better player in Europe than in the NBA.  I think he could be one of the best players in the league over there, while he is a borderline rotation player in the NBA.
