Saying hansbrough is a below average player is a touch harsh. I think he'll develop into a pretty good player. Solid numbers for where he is in his development.

Hansbrough is by no means a below average player, but I think it's fair to say he is a below average starter.  I think he makes the most sense as a bench scoring PF (kinda like Glen Davis only white, taller, and with decent rebounding).

If the Clippers re-sign Deandre Jordan, they can trot out a starting line-up of Mo Williams, Eric Gordon, Ryan Gomes, Griffin and Jordan.  To me, that's a pretty potent lineup.  They might even have a few bucks left over to strengthen that squad with a solid veteran or two.

I doubt very seriously that the Clippers end up in the bottom 10 next year.

Milwaukee, Toronto, Cleveland, Detroit, Sacramento, Utah, Phoenix, Houston, New Orleans, New Jersey, Washington, Golden State, Minnesota, Indiana, Portland, Denver, New Orleans, Charlotte, and Philadelphia are all teams who I see having a reasonable shot at ending up with a worse record than the LA Clippers next season.

Then again, they are the Clippers.
I wouldn't go with potent as a description for that line-up.  Mediocre perhaps.  Williams, Gomes and Jordan would be solid guys off the bench but not as starters.  Having Kaman, Bledsoe and Aminu gives them a pretty decent bench which is where they may be saved as a team.
Assuming a season is actually played and Griffin, Gordon and Jordan improve their games, I could see them finishing out of the bottom 10 based on their depth and Gordon/Griffin becoming a tough duo to contend with down the stretch of games.
I can see where most of those teams are candidates to finish with worse records if things don't break their way during the season but until the Clips show otherwise, they're always at the top of the list of teams to suffer bad breaks and self-inflicted wounds.

Both Denver and Portland were both solid playoff teams and both have a pretty darn good coach. Clippers aren't getting near those two.

can someone please explain this ?? we end up with no pick at all if the Clippers are bad ?

The Clippers pick is top 10 protected from 2012 to 2015. It becomes unprotected in 2016.

The Celtics will definitely get a first round pick. It is just a question of when.
