Did Chris Johnson sign back with Portland?

I've been looking at a Chris Johnson return since we lost to Miami. I've seen some salary/other websites that say Chris Johnson is on the books for Portland next year, but I remember hearing that he had only signed for the rest of the season. If we can get him back, would he be a good 3rd string center? He was a great shot blocker and had good athleticism and size. What do you guys think about bringing him back, if possible?
