While reading up on some of the undrafted talent available I am to find that amazed that Michael Dunnigan managed to slipped through the cracks. The HoopsWorld article has this to say about him.

http://www.hoopsworld.com/Story.asp?story_id=20252
"Dunigan played two seasons at Oregon before signing a deal to play abroad where he won a championship with BC Kalev. He put up an impressive stat line of 11 points and 8 rebounds on the squad in a time when younger players typically struggle to adapt to life far away from home. At 6'10 and 240 pounds, there will always be a team looking for additional size in the middle."

I then came across this Youtube video showing off 7 minutes of game footage from his team, while I know highlight videos are more or less useless, this was 7 strait minutes of an impressive player that in my mind showed a gritty toughness to win.

He is number 32 in blue.

So my question is this, should we should look into this potential steal or let another talent toil away in Europe? I'd say he's at least worth a camp invite.

Excuse me for the double post,(skyrocketing my count to a dominant 4!)

He is also a seems to be well spoken, intelligent young man (21 years old) who was able to thrive in a league where so many have American players have struggled.

The Estonian League is about as low as you can get in Europe (and still play pro ball). So I wouldn't read too much into his stats.

Scott Schroeder at Ridiculous Upside thought that Michael Dunigan was preferable to Jeremy Tyler.

He seems not too assertive on the boards and finishing plays. He does got good size and mobility.

An invite will help determine his true skills. However, I would like the Celts to give a chance too on Pittsburgh's Gary McGhee. A 6'11' center, wide bodied, mobile, assertive, finishes strongly to the rim, decent post skills, willingly bangs bodies to anybody down below (a must for a center I guess) and displays toughness.

Dunnigan was the last player back on offense every possession except one. Really only had 2 or 3 baskets in the paint, otherwise he'd be at the top of the key. Seems like another Dalembert, lankier C that tries to hit the 8-10 ft jumper.

Gary McGhee seemed more like a fit for our team. While I believe Jujan Johnson could develop into a C or at least play spot minutes, he'd be best at PF learning to play like KG.
McGhee, while he looked like he lacked any sort of vertical for a big man, and only dunked 4 or 5 times in all those highlights, they were wide open dunks. No posterizers.
Still, his frame is that of a C. Reminded me of an Etan Thomas or Brendan Haywood.
Can't stop, Rondo!

Good points. In addition, he did not play tough in the paint. The opposing players pushed him away and he did not seem to push them away from a good position near the basket. I did not see him block out well and for his height he seems too far away from the basket.

Weak side defense seemed ok, contested some shots.

Overall, Not much to impress me. Not terrible but more like a small forward in his style.
