Nice job Nick.
I love imagining all the scenarios...
A lot of good names on that list that would pan out in the short term better than most draft picks available at #25 (long term, too).
Celtics fan for life.

Thompson would be huge. I think that if the Kings are willing that's our best option. I also like buying an additional second rounder. I have a feeling we're in for an active night.

Robin Lopez please  ;D!!!
That's what I am hoping and I am coming to the conclusion using this logic:

1. Phoenix doesn't need Lopez as they already have Marcin Gortat and Channing Frye playing their center position and signed through the next 4 years.

2. Rumors are that Lopez will be moved tonight.

3. The Phoenix ownership is notoriously cheap and if they could turn Lopez' $2.8 million salary next year to be a third string center into a $1 million a year second/third string SG prospect while getting $3 million to pay that prospect over the next 3 years, they would probably do it.

4. If Reggie Jackson, Nolan Smith or even Jimmy Butler are still around at the C's pick, they seem like better options for the Suns bench than Lopez.

So....Lopez for the TE, #25 and $3 million. Wyc said he wouldn't be afraid to spend and what better way to get a true center prospect than to basically buy him from the same spot you bought Rajon Rondo from.

BTW Lopez' Per36 numbers over the last 2 years(approximately) that includes 87 starts:

15.7 PPG
8.3 RPG
1.6 BPG
1.6 TOPG
0.3 APG
0.5 STPG
54% FG%
72% FT%

Just curious, what was your age cutoff?

Didn't have one. Just kind of went off of players still on their rookie contracts and maybe one or two others.

TP for the nice work Nick.

Looks like we have some recent options.

I'd love to get Marreese Speights, a big man than can really score and is young would be great value for the 25th pick.

TP for the list, Nick.

Robin Lopez, Jason Thompson, Ilyasova, Darrell Arthur, Courtney Lee, Paul George... all would be steals for a #25.

Courtney Lee was great when playing for Orlando, Paul George is more valuable then Danny Granger right now, Darrell Arthur is a huge upgrade over BBD, as Ilyasova. Robin Lopez and Jason Thompson have the length to play C, unlike everyone in the Celtics except Shaq, JO and Sheed.

I don't think DA can make it, but I hope so  :P

Go Danny, redeem yourself from the mid-season trade!

He's another guy who's name is being tossed around in rumors so Philly can't be to enamored with him.

Plays no defense ... Phily's patience has finally run out.

It's a shame because he'd be a heck of a player if he gave a [dang]. Waste of talent.

Just to clarify, even though this season is over, if we get a player tonight, his 2010-2011 salary has to fit under the exception, and not 2011-2012?  That's a nice deal, as all the salaries will increase for the 2011-2012 season, giving us effectively more buying power tonight.

Yes, tonight is actually our last chance to acquire players under the current CBA Rules - things could be changing dramatically by the time free agency starts

So you're saying anthony randolph would fit!!
