At whatever the cost, I would still consider it a bad offseason if BBD is back on the team next season.

Unless, of course, he is backing up KG and D12.

It seems like everyone is assuming that Big Baby is definitely a goner. Is this a foregone conclusion?

we can only hope  ::)

I dont think its definite at all.

I think he's not going to receive any of those big contract offers he's expecting and will come running back with his tail tucked

Not foregone.

But, man, would it be awkward having him in training camp. There'd have to be some serious fence-mending.

The fence broke because Big Baby sat on it…

Stay as far away from him and a contract as possible and the offseason will be considered at least a partial success.

sad but true...TP

Big Mouth Davis shouldn't be in green next year. I didn't like his play, but what makes him worse is what he says. He's got more Lebron than Ray Allen in his head. Enough said.

I hope that Baby is back in green.  He's shown consistent improvement every year, and I don't see why next year should be any different.

He's not definitely gone, but....

I expect the Celtics to give Davis a lowball offer and not budge from that.  If another team is willing to pay more, he's gone.  If Big Baby is willing to accept even less because of a hurt ego, then he's gone.

How likely are those things?

  • GOT IT!!!
No, it shouldn't be.  We would be lucky to pick up a replacement as good as Davis, and what we need is more big men, not less.

What I'd like to see is  a new bigs coach.  Got to light a fire under Davis and other young bigs.

Shouldn't need a new coach to get Baby to accept his role.

I think he's definitely gone. Whether it be by his on admission or in a sign and trade.
