I'd love for KG to come back a couple more years. He is one of my favorite all-time basketball players (hell, I loved him before he came to Boston, so 2008 was just gravy for me). Honestly, though, it all depends on what happens this year. If he can still produce at a good level on slightly reduced minutes, I can see him lingering. But if he gets injured again or is otherwise shows signs of age, I can see him retiring. KG is a very proud man; IF he has a bad season (which is by no means definite), I wouldn't be surprised if he gave up playing and became a defensive coordinator or other assistant staff position, for Doc Rivers or otherwise.
