I think you try to get this done if you're the Clippers, even though Iggy is quite expensive. I don't think the big name free agents (i.e. Howard, Williams, Paul) will likely opt to sign with them, so I think this would be very solid if they could re-sign DeAndre Jordan.

Mo Williams, Eric Gordon, Andre Iguodala, Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan is a very strong starting lineup.

Iggy's probably going to be the subject of a lot more rumors before the offseason is done.

He'd be a great asset for the Clips though.  His rebounding, speed and open court passing would make him a devastating complement to Griffin.

Also, I forgot to add that this would also be a potential money saving move for Philly. Kaman for Iggy doesn't make a ton of sense on the surface for Philly, but Kaman has like a 11-13 million expiring. He would be a potential "rental" and would give them the option to be players in the free agent market of 2012.

If they get Iggy and that team stays healthy, that Clippers' pick is ours next year.

I'm not sure I'd characterize that as a "really strong" starting lineup, but it's a solid base from which to move forward.  They still need a better point guard who can actually run the offense, not two shooting guards with point guard's bodies in the backcourt.

As is, that team would net 40 wins or so, I'd bet (assuming health).

This would be such a steal for the Clippers. I understand that Philly is trying hard to trade Iguodala but this is really not a good deal for them.

Yeah wow. Thats a great lineup on paper for the Clips. Young, athletic, and good. They could make some noise. I love Kaman too but I dont like it for the 76ers.

Is this surprising?  Dallas is in the Finals and they don't really have any other assets, either.  Being an old team that's been winning for a while means you probably have very few trade assets.

If this goes down and the Clips have solid coaching we should end up with their 2012 pick. Their starters other than DeAndre Jordan would be certified starting caliber players. Iguodala would do well with Williams and Gordon in the back court. I think the less Iguodala has to scorer the better he'll play.

If it happens it's pretty much a salary dump for Philly.

I would think that they could get up around 45-48 wins with that team.

I agree about the starting lineup. Not particularly strong. D.Jordan still isn't enough of an impact player. An average defender / rebounder + limited offensive player. He needs to continue to improve his defense before that becomes a high quality starting lineup.

Mo Williams is alright with Andre Iguodala to offer a second ball-handler and playmaker. He can concentrate more on his shooting than running team which is best for everyone involved.
