To beat Miami with the big 4 we need 3 reliable backups

I disagree, backups are important but we owned the Heat with a legit 5 man team (Shaq). Find a center find your formula. Backups will keep us fresh for the playoffs but a complete team is the only thing that nets #18.

3 reliable backups would be great. Needing Medicaid will be more probable.

Good ideas on paper but there seems to be some kind of disconnect from gm to coach...Danny brings them in but Doc rarely uses them.Look at the last(10-15)guys Danny has signed and count how many really play a role on the team besides riding the pine.It was sickening looking up/down a bench with that many players unutilized throughout the playoffs.
I know the bench shortens in the playoffs but there are times when you need to go deeper.Look at the Heat and Mavs series for example,both coaches have made exceptions when they feel it will help the team.They place some trust in guys who probably wouldn't be playing when the starters and regular role players are doing well.The leash shortens but they get an opportunity to pass/fail.Doc never gives those type players the opportunity.Bottomline,if Doc loses trust or never have any in a player,the signings end up being worthless,Murphy,Von Wafer,etc.

 By the way,when was the last time we developed any players at the DLeague level?I noticed Utah,Portland,Lakers,and some other teams brought up a player or two this past season that developed over the regular season.

The Heat and the Mavs haven't gone any deeper into their bench than the Celtics during the playoffs.
