Does Dalembert seem like a realistic option for the C's? Tyson chandler is going to be too expensive and there just doesnt seem to be many options at the center position.
Career 26 minpg, 8ppg, 8rpg, 1.9blk, 52%fg, 70% ft. 30 years of age.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Although I think that Dalembert would have helped us this year, I cannot see us adding him this offseason. Locking him up 5 years would make hardly any sense to me with Rondo running our point going forward.
Whoever is playing in the 2, 3 and 4 would be double teamed non stop as Rondo and Dalembert would be left unguarded. I know defense wins championships but I do not think we can put our aging big 3 in even more double team situations. Scoring is not going to get easier for us with another year added to their legs unless the season is 2 months long.
Personally, I feel either our pg or center needs to be a viable scoring option going forward from this point on. I can hope that Rondo will improve his jump shot this off-season but I would not be taking that idea to the bank.

I like it. He's only 30. He can run fairly well on breaks and he is durable... Something that this team needs is a player who hasnt had many injuries. He would be great coming off the bench in a defense roll alongside Green and another scoring option. I like his game, hes the athletic center that can give us pretty decent weakside help that we've been looking for.

Dalembert is great. But we are still in need of another backup center, kristic is ok but I would rather have a center with a bit more range someone like sheed who compliments rondo with floor spacing

We will not offer Dalembert the years or the money he will get from other teams and by all accounts the Kings actually want to re-sign him so he would have to turn down a lot of money and years to come here (which isn't likely to happen).

No, because we won't be offering multi-year contracts
