So it's tough to use trade checker now, but what do you guys think of something where the main pieces would be Rondo to Denver for Ty Lawson and Nene.  I know it would be dependent on Nene not exercising his ETO, but its just a thought.  I know a lot of people are saying if we trade Rondo it should only be for CP3, just trying to think of some other moves that could help us as much.
do it

I'll pass.

I'd rather have Eric Gordon and DeAndre Jordan (S & T) for Rondo. Don't know if that even possible, but that's the type of value I want in return for Rondo.

Bleh.  Both ideas are bad.

Nope. Gordon/Jordan salaries won't be enough, and you need more value for Rondo.

CP3 and Landry (S/T) for Rondo/Davis/2013#1.

According to reports Jordan will make around 9-11M as he is a FA. Eric Gordon will be at 3.8M and Rondo will be at 10M. If anything, we might have to add something to make it worth salary wise.

You don't think getting a 22 year old shooting guard, still on a rookie contract, who averaged 22 ppg on 45% from the field and a 22 year old center, who has improved considerably every year, is great value for Rondo?

Remember that Ainge continues to say that offense was the problem and the reason for our losses to Miami. While Rondo is great in transition he continues to remain a liability in the halfcourt. In Eric Gordon we would receive one of the best scorers and clutch performers in the NBA. While we wouldn't have the same type of playmaker as Rondo, we would probably adjust to our personnel and use more of our motion sets to take advantage of the perimeter strengths of Pierce, Allen, Gordon, Green, and West. Those 5, and maybe a traditional PG signed through FA, would make for a nice rotation at the 1, 2, and 3 spots.

Sorry but Jordan is not even an MLE although I would somewhat overpay but not for Davis.

LAC traded their #1 and the $2 million to $3 million salary-cap hold in the Baron Davis trade so they could match offers for him. That's probally closer to his value at this stage of his development.

Can you cite that report which shows his true market value at 9m?

Taking the new CBA and work-stoppage threat out of the equation, one prominent NBA agent pegged Jordan's value on the open market to be around $9 million to $11 million dollars a season and predicted he'd sign a contract similar to the five-year, $60 million extension that Bulls center Joakim Noah signed in 2010 or even the four-year, $58 million extension Lakers center Andrew Bynum signed in 2009.

"Any team that needs a center will be interested," a front office source said. "New York, Houston, Miami, Boston, Cleveland. The question is who has the money to bid it up? New York."

you guys for real? why are all of you looking for trades for RONDO out of all people. He is our only real future and your all ready to throw him away? we just need someone to fill in the center position void and someone other than pierce/garnett/allen who can score consistently. Rondo is the league's best passer and the reason we havent been able to do well offensively is because he couldnt pass to people to score. Pierce and Allen went back to their old ways of going solo offensively. We just need a consistent scorer and who is young to provide a good outlet for Rondo for the next couple years. How about Josh Smith?

Thanks ... MLE reluctantly yes, but 9-11m for a horrible FT shooter with poor offensive skills and high turnover rate  ... no way.

How you go about getting Josh Smith?

Can't trade RR unless it returns a PG in his class. RR has much more trade value than Gordon.
