Take your pick as to what the C's have been lacking the past few months of season(since Perk trade) and the few games of lies where they showed they had a few fumes left in the tank to will themselves a victory. Sorry, but these C's are who I thought they were and now the disappointment and disbelief in how bad/sad this team is turns to apathy.

Thanks for a Chmpship KG, PP, RayRay, Rondo and Perk.

gl blowing this team up and rebuilding DA

We got beat by a more talented team.  The old guys just arent consistent enough to get it done against the league's best

This game came down to energy.  The younger team had it, the older team didn't down the stretch.

Both teams wanted this one really badly.  The Celtics played better as a team, but superstars win in the playoffs.  Just got to tip your hat to the young guys.

Everything the Celtics showed was great, but you can't overcome age and injuries.
Celtics' turn on switch for the playoffs: the last bastion of hope for battered Celtic fans.

We had all this, we just lacked young legs to make the heart and hustle come true with actions.

Tonight the Celtics needed Kendrick Perkins, not Jeff Green.  That trade was going to bite them in the backside eventually and tonight it finally caught up to the Celts.

Explain to me how having Perk could win this game for us. We lost because we couldn't score in OT, our defense was EXCELLENT! Holding an extremely talented Miami team to only 86 points is an incredible feat and a testament to our lock down defense.

JO gives us what Perk would have and then some ON THE COURT. However, he doesnt have the intimidation factor that Perk would give us. He doesnt have the brotherhood, the chemistry, the trust, and the defensive rotations down. Perk was the enforcer. No one wanted to play the Celtics when Perk was in the starting 5, after he was gone, everyone thought they could beat them... They went from being the big bad celtics that no one wanted to mess with to be the still talented but beatable on any night celtics.

I agree that its plain and simple that KG was awful. During the second half of the 3rd quarter, the celtics looked like they turned off a switch. The became lazy, stood around, no pace no tempo... It was like a completely different team than we saw in the first half.

You know why they seemed lazy, stood around, etc.? It's because of fatigue and and older legs. This is something physical and there really nothing much you can do about it other than rest. I wasn't surprised how well we played on game 3 because we had 3 full days of rest. Tonight's game was after 1 day of rest and it wasn't surprising that fatigue caught up to us a little bit.
