A huge reason I'm rooting for the Griz is cause of Zach Randolph. I feel like this guy has just always been in trouble and has bounced around from team to team, has been labeled a cancer to teams etc. I feel like everyone is rooting against him and I can't help but root for a guy like that.

He is the opposite of Kevin Durant who everyone loves and wants to win. He is the poster boy (more or less) of the NBA, the good citizen.

I don't dislike KD at all I just think the griz winning and Randolph especially would make for a great story

I want the Thunder to win - in large part because I think they pose a bigger matchup problem for the Lakers - and having either in the finals is a great storyline (not trying to count chickens, but hey)

Thunder. I don't want LA to win another ring. I don't want them coming out of the West at all.

I definitely agree with you
I think the Grizzlies are a better young team than the Thunder. Love the way they play. Score in the paint, hard nose defense, team play. And I think they have a real advantage over the Lakers or Dallas with their size

I think the Thunder is opposite. Score on the perimeter, fastbreak offense, 2 man isolations

I'm not simply for the fact LA would cakewalk right over them.

Well maybe not cakewalk but think OKC would give them more fits

I like Memphis more than OKC...But OKC is the only team out West with a chance to beat LA (not much of one tho) so Im going for them

Both teams are young and exicting. I love Z Bo and Gay, even T A... However the Thunder are exciting as well. I have the Thunder going to the finals. Durant is unfolding as a guy that can take over at the end of games and hits big shots right before our eyes. Westbrook is already a triple double threat. Perkins was the missing piece to their puzzle, they could certainly score and now the have a great team defense. They are a pretty solid team and their bench and role guys are great for them. Harden can hit big shots, Ibaka comes up with big plays, and guys like Collison and Mohamed give vet presence and make the right plays at the right time.

i feel like the grizz match up pretty well with the lakers

marc gasol vs bynum is more or less a wash.
zbo vs gasol/odom could be trouble for the lakers cause they dont have the size to contain him.
sam young vs artest could be a wash, maybe advantage to lakers
allen/battier vs kobe. obv the lakers win this matchup, but these are probably the 2 guys in the whole league kobe doesnt wanna have to deal with.
conley vs fisher. goes to the grizz

That is exactly my thinking TP
Wouldn't be surprised if there was a Celtics vs Grizzlies Finals

Yes, but it would hurt even more if they beat us again. I don't want to take that chance. And because I think LA is the best team in the West I want them gone by the Finals.

18 is the most important thing.
And keeping LA from 17 is the next most important thing.

2002 definitely, people around the country recognize it. 2010 I think only Bostonians think there was a conspiracy, so I'll take it as home cooking more than a league wide conspiracy

I think in theOKC matches up pretty well with the Lakers but it's the playoffs now and just because on paper it looks like that doens't mean that is how it will unfold.

Plus if the Griz took out the Spurs in 6 and if they ended up taking OKC out both without HCA I think that would be a team you would have to fear.
