Yes, the title is correct  8)

With his 8th triple Ray tied Reggie for most 3 point field goals in NBA history:
Ray Allen 2612 regular season, 268 playoff = 2880 total
Reggie Miller 2560 regular season, 320 playoff = 2880 total

So with one three pointer in Sunday Ray will be undisputed 3 point king...( in all-star games Ray-Reggie 22-5).

If Celtics win tommorow, Ray needs 3 3 pointers to break all-time record (Damon Jones 2005) for most 3's in 4 game series.

Pozdrav iz Hrvatske.

do they really not count playoff stats toward career totals?

Remember when people thought Ray's career was over last year?

  • Rondo = Good
I wonder if Ray will ever eclipse Reggie's number of playoff 3 pointers?  Probably, but will it be this year?

52 playoff 3-pointers to tie Reggie is a big thing. Ray has made 268 3-pointers in 104 playoff matches, so it's a bit more than 2,5 per game. I hope the Celtics win the next 13, so the record will be hard to tie this year. Next, year, probably.

Ray's the greatest shooter ever, period point blank. He can maybe get a couple more rings if Danny does a good job this summer
