Many of you may have seen this video on the mechanics of Ray Allen's jumpshot:

I used the CelticsBlog pic of Ray's winning shot and calculated the angle in Geometer's Sketchpad - look what I came up with.  Note: You should watch (or rewatch) the video for a more dramatic affect!
