When Shaq got hurt and we inserted Perk in the starting lineup...that's when we started playing .500 ball.

With Shaq: 1-0

With Perk: 5-3

With Perk as sub: 1-0

With Perk as starter: 4-3

Without Perk: 2-1 (3-1 if u don't count GS game where Perk played 12 minutes and then got hurt)

Without Perk/Nenad/Green: 0-1

With Nenad/Green: 2-0

In games Shaq has missed, since early Feb.: we have been 18-15 as team.

That's a 54.5% winning percentage.

Well, we're 19-15 without Shaq in the lineup (since 2/1), and we're 15-12 since 'the trade', but we were 21-8 with Perkins in the lineup, with Perk averaging 26+ minutes per game.

And that's a .72 winning %, or 60 wins in a 82 game season.

that's really not a big enough sample size to judge anything

I see what you're getting at, but Perk only played 12 games for us.

8-4 which is a 67% winning percentage.

5 of those games, Shaq was still "healthy" and starting for us.

Haha...hoisted by my own hubris! I accidentally counted the OKC games!
