I saw someone make a comment in another thread about how he wished they made cartoons like bugs bunny still. I couldn't agree more, so when I had kids I made sure that I made all those great cartoons available to them too. I got a netflix account and a dvd ripping program and I now have pretty much every looney tunes and tom and jerry cartoon ever made.
They also have a lot of Pixar movies. I know it's kinda jacked up but my oldest son (who is 4 and a half now) learned how to swap dvd's at a young age. One night I woke up at like 3am. He was right around 2 years old and he had put Kill Bill in the dvd player and was watching it. The next night he put in night of the living dead, he always somehow managed to find horror movies or action/thriller types lol.
Right now he is watching a Super Mario World dvd (its awesome)
They also have some random old school cartoons like thundercats, transformers and g.i. joe. There was a short period where they loved Barney, and they love anything to do with superheroes. There is an awesome series in our on demand section right now called the avengers.
But yea, i've tried to expose him to things he would otherwise have no clue about if he was watching regular tv. Call me crazy but I think bakugan,pokemon, hannah montana and all that crap they have on tv for kids now just plain sucks.
