Larry Fitzgerald to Pats?

This has been speculated and I actually heard a real live rumor with my own ears which got me thinking... AZ can't franchise him next year, and they're not gonna get better at the qb position... so he'll walk next year anyway.  Why not get something for him?  Who has the best draft picks in the draft?

Gronk, Hern, Welker, Branch, Fitz... that would be unearthly.  Best receiver group of all-time?

The rumor is NOT concrete, save your deli guy jokes!

Without a CBA nobody will be changing teams anytime soon.

What do you mean by a "real live" rumor? Was it a friend of yours who works with the Pats? Did you overhear someone who you know works for the Pats talking about it? What?

They can't with the lockout ongoing. 

Right now, you can only trade draft picks for draft picks.  You can't include players.

If the Players Association is going to dissolve thereby making all players free agents because of the lockout, how exactly can a team trade a player it technically doesn't own the rights to?

There will be absolutely zero player trades until such time as a new CBA is put in place or the players win the injunction they have in court against the owners being able to lock them out.
