One of the analysts last night (can't remember who said it) theorized that Doc wants to play his main players to win games now and stay competitive and blend in the other guys during practice.  I think he may be done in the immediate future with trying to win while blending in all the new guys.

if that is the case then im happy he did that. great coach!!

That's an option he really didn't have until DWest made it back.  And of course Green and Curly are part of the core rotation now.

It's because Doc played Ray most of the game and West/Rondo took all the PG minutes.

Both West/Rondo will play ahead of Arroyo for defensive purposes.

What you saw last night was the playoff rotation.

Rondo
Allen
Pierce
KG
Shaq

JO/Krstic
Green
West
Baby

That is our playoff rotation, all these "new guys" people keep talking about will not be playing during the playoffs.

Green and Krstic will most likely be facing bench units of opposing teams, where they will have advantages.

Murphy didn't play because Big Baby played well and you didn't see Arroyo because Delonte played well.  Unless Delonte and Baby fail, you won't see much Arroyo or Murphy in the playoffs.   However, I think Murphy will have some use still in key situations and lineups.
