What is Jeff Green's ceiling?

Talented player that puts ups numbers less then capable of, but it is a sacrifice to help the team win. 



Good defender and capable scorer. 

Good comparison, but he has a *long* way to go before his defense is at McKey's level.

Agreed, but I think he has the physical tools and the type of mind set that could get there.


Offensively (much like McKey), I don't think he will ever be the type of guy that takes as many shots as he could, therefor his point total will never be as high as it could be.  He will pass on shots for the bettering of the team.

The important thing, is that much like Rondo he is only 24years old and is already a pretty good NBA player. However he has much to learn but with his athleticism and current skill set I think that he can definitely get to averaging 15-20points within the celtics system once the big 3 retire..

looking from a long-term perspective, Danny made a good move as you have 2 solid young players that you can begin to build upon to keep the team a championship contender well after the big 3 are gone

Green's ceiling?  Probably a mineral fiber composite or perhaps wood beam I would guess.
