he, not rondo will and should finish most close games for us. I have believed this for a while now and it is becoming more evident. Rondo's inability to improve his shot, which I have always stated will never change, is too much of a problem for him to overcome. The only reason this hasn't happened more often until now is the fact that we have never had even a decent backup PG.

When Rondo doesent play aggressively and penetrate, he is absolutely useless to this team.

If Doc sees that Rondo isnt penetrating he needs to be benched in favor of someone who can space the floor and also shoot.

I dont know who Rondo thinks he is but if he isnt penetrating and attacking then hes a useless player that cant shoot.

OK, then let's just hold them out until the playoffs, lose the 2nd seed in the process, and then see how they will fail miserably because of being rusty and not knowing the other new players' styles.

I wasn't condoning this at all, just reiterating what Doc said, (don't shoot the messenger) ... I personally hope we don't keep them out, because there will be no cohesiveness. We need them back ASAP so we can have some kind of rhythm going into the post-season, even if their minutes are cut a little.

Shaq has been playing hookie a lot lately in his career and I don't think it will affect him as much not playing as he is an experienced Veteran.  But it would be good to give the second unit some practice and time to get to know one another.
