  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
unit 1:

Shaq
Rondo

unit 2:

west
krstc
green
murphy/Oneal

I'm sounding like a typical homer but we are basically unstoppable vs any team now (on paper)
Our defense is going to improve with more playing time and the 25 games before the playoffs.
Our offense is way better, KG is moving well(much better than last year).
The only thing stopping this team from a championship is injuries to key players- and even if this happens, our bench is so deep now that we can still scrape our way to the finals.
Im so [dang] excited.
Is there any other team that we are still extremely worried about? For me it's the Bulls in the East and the spurs/lakers in the west...this Celts squad is just gonna be so nasty in 7 games series'.

I agree with the best starting 5 if your including Shaq who is better then Perkins could ever dream of being, even at his age.

I think Phoenix and San Antonio have the best benches in the league though.

We havent had a bench all year, let alone a complete one, so we cant really lay claim to having the best bench. Our bench has been the most incomplete/injured bench in the NBA all year.

If healthy we could have one of the best, but we wont know that until the playoffs.

Great post, (TP). The only team that worries me is the Celtics ... as you stated, this team is great ... on paper, and if healthy.

That's a big "if", unfortunately, as this team ages and has a number of players who are injury-prone. Let's cross our fingers and hope that everyone gets back in time for the post-season, but even if they do, I'm not sure we should expect them to last the entire length of the playoffs ...

... especially Jermaine. And can we get significant minutes from Shaq even if he is healthy? Here's hoping so ... time will tell, but our biggest problem is age and health, and timing our peak for the core of the post-season. (Knocks on wood, throws salt over shoulder, etc.). ;)

I think Orlando has a better bench unit, Denver is up there too with all of their players.

huh?
who have the got that scares the celtics or anyone for that matter?
JJ redick and arenas?
They have plenty of 3 point shooting but that's about it.
No size, no depth, no nothing.

Only thing that bothers me are the injuries we have.
