He was brought here to fill Semih's role...Which means if everyone is health (big if) he won't play much behind Shaq JO Baby Murphy (hopefully) etc....So at this point its fair to say Nenad is an upgrade over Semih...

It will take time to see how he's really going to affect this team ... he did some good stuff tonight, and looked a little more "alive" than he has in OKC, for the most part, but to really assess his impact on the C's, we need to step back and give it a while to cook, (doesn't mean we can't stir the pot, though!). ;)

  • Let them hate, as long as they fear
I distinctly remember when he was with the Nets, he scored a lot against us from outside and it used to unnerve me that we would give him so many open shots. Then I los tract of him when he was traded. Five offensive RBs last night. Not bad. He hasnt learned yet that in our system, he is not supposed to go to the boards. lolololololol
And someday in the midst of time,
When they ask you if you knew me
Remember that you were a friend of mine

There is no question that our system and playing next to KG will help Krstic.   He moves well without the ball and we share the ball.  I was impressed by his mobility.

Good thread. I watched the whole second half of the game, and his mobility is one thing I noticed right off the bat. The second thing that really stood out to me was his help defense. He was really good on the PnR, and on helping.

I'm impressed by just how much he might help the bench. Not only does Green help there, but Krstic will be asked to fill Semih's role and he's an upgrade to Semih. I can easily see him getting 6-10 PTs off the bench in that 15-20 min role. With hopefully 3/5 boards. Perfect fit for a bench that needed upgrading.
