Just read that Perk wanted $10m year, or almost double what the C's offered (which was the max they could offer under the CBA). The C's obviously weren't going to pay him that and that kick started the trade talks.$10m is what Rondo and Ray make. Perk isn't even half the player they are. Danny did the right thing.

Since that story is unsourced, I consider it to be conjecture. Logical conjecture, but I would assume conjecture all the same.
