these are the names linked to the C's in the last couple of days (from legit news sources) - let me know who I'm missing and I'll update the list

Didn't the Knicks already trade for Corey Brewer?  I really wanted the Celtics to get him... young defensive player. Ticked that the Knicks got him.  I'd just rather not add any old bodies.

I love the idea of Jared Dudley.  He would be my first choice of the players left on your list.

If there's an agent for any possibly available swingman out there who doesn't get his client's name in the paper as someone the Celtics are interested in, that agent isn't doing his job.

Dudley would be nice, but he is a poison pill if I'm not mistaken, which might make it difficult to trade for him under the current CBA. Grant Hill and Pietrus are two others from PHX that I would love to add (Robinson for Pietrus anyone?). Battier is my favorite choice out of them all. Wish he had a few more years on his contract to make it easier to trade for him. I like Howard, but I worry that he won't be effective for another year, which of course will be too late for this season. If rumors out of Charlotte are accurate, I'd love to do something for Wallace or JAX. My dark horse trade is for F. Garcia (Sac).
