What's the story on Ryan Gomes? Allegedly, the Clippers are into Gallinari. (LINK)

Boston trades Maquis Daniels, Nate Robinson, 1(2011)
Gets: Ryan Gomes, Rasual Butler

LAC trades: Ryan Gomes, Rasual Butler, Minny Protected 2011 pick
LA Gets: Nate Robinson, Galliari

Denver Trades: Gallinari
Denver Gets: Quisy, Boston's 1st, Minny's 1st (via LAC)

I might be in the minority, but I was never a huge Gomes fan at all, and I for one dont really want to see him back. There are other, hopefully obtainable, options for us over him.

You're telling me you're against getting back all the players we gave up after that historically great 06/07 season?

What are you, some kinda communist?

I think Wally Szczerbiak is available for the vet min. Let's give him an offer. He'd be a perfect fit off the bench.

Szczerbiak is coming off of a knee surgery that he himself said might be career ending, which means he is out of practice.  He did not work once for Boston, i dont think he would work a second time.

Sebastian Telfair has really played the role of "guy at the end of the bench in street clothes" very well the past several seasons.  It seems like every year he kills the Celtics in this role, sometimes for 2 or 3 different teams.  I say we trade a Tuesday night at the Garden Family Pack and a bottle of fish oil capsules for him, I think he could really be a different maker come playoff time.

I'll play.

Let's bring Gerald Green back at the wing, and I'm sure Paddy O'Blount could be pried away from his job at McDonald's to give valauble, and truly effortless, support off the bench.
