A trade like this could be possible if the Celtics really are looking for a 3 (or listening to offers that would net them a 3). I dunno if the Kings do this, though.

The King would do well in this deal -- they'd dump nobody and get no-one in return!

I'm not saying it's likely, but it's hardly the most far fetched scenario in the world. Jermaine would probably just retire, which would save Phili a boatload.

Of all the bad Nocioni trades I've seen on here, this is about the only way I'd acquire him.

TP for realistic idea. This trade solves all our problems as Noc can play 3 positions, and Battie can be a dependable rebounder.
Yes JO has little to no value, but add a draft pick and I don't see why Philly wouldn't be inclined to save a million in salary.
