KG's knee injury in 2009 potentially cost the Celtics the last 2 Championships considering the way he's been playing now that he's fully recovered this year. The only thing I could see causing the Celtics to lose in the 2009 NBA Playoffs with a Healthy KG would be a weaker bench with no James Posey or equivalent caliber backup SF and no one with height after Perkins and KG. It should be obvious that the C's would've won the 2010 NBA Championship with KG playing the way he is now last year even with Perkins being out in Game 6 and Game 7 of the 2010 NBA Finals. Do you think the C's would've won it all in 2009 with a Healthy KG and be on the verge of a 4-Peat attempt?

They didn't so that's all that really matters.

But I don't think the 2009 Celtics would've won it all. I could see them making the Finals but that bench was really weak. I think LA was a better team that year. They beat us on X-Mas that year with KG. And that whole game I thought they just looked like a better overall team.

I hate to say that but it's how I felt.

This year however I think Boston is the best team in the NBA. If they can hold together for the rest of the year.
