The Celtics sit at 30 wins, 9 losses despite not having Perkin all year, Rondo down for 9 games, and KG not available since at Detriot (Villanueva Karma screwed us). Delonte West has only been available 5 games. Jermaine O'Neal has missed most of the season with his knee troubles and I have my doubts as to if he will even be available this season.

So I think that getting 30 and 9 has been a remarkable accomplishment. I lot of this has fallen on Pierce and Ray Allen and Glen Davis being the major players. Different people have stepped up on different nights to help the team win. We have seen Semih Erden early in the year. Marquis Daniels has stepped in and played defense and scoring on matchup advantages. We have seen contributions from Von Wafer, Luke Harangody, Shaq, NateRob and others. So once Perkins, Delonte, and KG come back we should have a 10 deep rotation for the March grind and the playoffs. I think the Celtics will compete for the best record in the NBA and homecourt throughout.
The beatings will continue until morale improves

I am not thrilled with a couple losses we had this year, namely against the Cavs and that one time in Orlando.

But those kind of losses are going to happen, just like some wins we probably shouldn't have won too.

Anyway, we are still the top team in the East given all the injuries and such. That has to be a big kudos to our guys in green.

Ray and Paul are having tremendous seasons....the improved play from Baby and Quis, what Shaq has given us...they all have helped curb the losses of KG, Perk, West and Rondo to a certain degree.

Hopefully, when we get back to full strength...we can run the table and break the Bulls record....

Hahaha.

I'll be happy with 55-60 wins.

I give em an A. 6/3 without KG, nursing 2 centers, and a wounded Rondo the team deserves it.

Record-wise, I am satisfied. We had huge wins against good teams, strung together a 14-game win streak, and had only a few poor performances.

I'll forgive the Cleveland game (we were hungover from an emotional, overhyped opener, and they were as fired up as they will ever be). Losing in Dallas on a missed shot is understandable, as is losing in Chicago Garnett-less.

Toronto and Houston were hitting their shots, and both games we were missing vital pieces. Could we have won both? Absolutely. But these types of games happen.

Even Detroit I can live with considering what happened.

The only games that were utterly disappointing were the losses to the Thunder, Magic, and Hornets. Even though we were again missing an all-star in the latter two, we gave all those games away.

The group of guys we have are excellent on and off the court, and I hope for a healthy second-half/playoffs. If they give us the same effort we got the first half, we should get HCA.

Considering the plethora of injuries we faced, 31-9 is mightily impressive. In our first 40 games, 60 games missed we missed by the starters. The O'Neal's missed 32 combined. Delonte, combining his suspension and injury, has missed 35.

Overall: A- (the minus only because of the three frustrating losses that were blown because of they lacked hustle and intensity).
