Saw the caught rebound when time expired by Rondo and didn't know if he was going to get credit for a rebound or not considering I wasn't entirely sure when he caught the ball. Went to bed after that and was glad to see they did give him the credit for the rebound.
The NBA likes nothing more than handing impressive achievements to players ... if it is anyway debatable, the player will always get the assist or rebound that he needed to get him over the hump.

I don't know about that.  Wasn't there a game that LeBron played at MSG last year (or the year before) that the box score at the end of the game showed a triple double with 10 rebounds, but then the official score ended up taking a rebound away?  I mean, if there is ANY player that the league would want to pad stats for, it would be LeBron, right?

Good point, I remember the exact situation. They took the rebound away from LeBron and gave it to one of his teamates and he ended with 9 rebounds instead.  Was it on his 50 point game too?

You're right.  Yes it was.  And apparently, it wasn't the first time LeBron has had a triple double rescinded.

Not that it matters, but TD tried to foul Rondo after he caught the ball. I think Rajon threw it into the air before time expired.

One thing I'd like to note about Rajon's passes to Ray off the screen. I noticed this a little earlier in the season but not only does Rajon put the ball right into Ray's shooting pocket but with perfect speed and rotation. That is HUGE for shooting, especially for a catch and shoot. So while some of his assists look fairly easy, the clean and crisp way with which he passes actually contributes to the shot. Speaking from my own basketball experience, a crisp pass in the pocket really helps with your rhythm whereas an awry pass can completely throw you off.

You are right on.  He puts the pass right on his hip better than I've seen any PG do.  And a lot of those underhand passes he tosses can be caught with a lot less effort.  Instead of having to stop the force of the ball and then go into the movement of the shot you can catch that soft underhand pass and get up a little quicker, which makes a difference and adds to the smoothness of Ray's shot.  And boy is it smooth.
