He hurt it as he placed his leg before going up ... his feet were not set straight, and his right leg was at an angle from the knee down as he placed it ... I really can't see a knee injury happening that way. Possibly a ligament pull, but I still lean toward a muscle strain/hyper-extension.

The heart was clearly gone from most of this team after that happened.

Here is the angle and I think where it happened, looks like it could have been the knee, no? But they ruled it out so *pause* all we can do is hope for the best.

They just showed KG walking to the locker-room after having x-rays, and he was limping, but still putting significant weight on it ... no way he'd be doing that if he had re-injured the knee or torn a ligament. We'll know more after an MRI, obviously, but that's very encouraging to me.

Maybe, but I would think it was more likely a hyper-extension/pull of the calf muscle. We'll know after the MRI, but let's cross our fingers. ;)

Yup I'm guessing by noon sometime we should hear something. I wonder if they are already in Boston, I cant imagine what KG feels or is going through but pretty sure he can't wait to to get some results.

Pierce is the only one with much fire in the eyes tonight ... I think the KG thing was heavy on everyone's mind. He's been looking so incredibly good ... you're heavy in my prayers tonight, Big Ticket.

Pierce had a really sweet play to close the first half and a beautiful set-up to Shaq, who blew the lay-up ... now, if he'd dunked the stupid thing, it would've been an easy two and an "in-your-face" statement. I just don't get it when these seven-plus-footers put up those soft little lay-ups, (that very often roll out), instead of dunking it and making sure it's TWO!

So we're on like a 66/16 pace right now, and that's without Delonte, Jermaine, (until now), and Perk, (Semih, Rondo, and KG now temporarily) ... I'm not too worried with that. If everyone is healthy at playoff time, we're gonna sail through to number eighteen.

Geez ... Villanueva acting like he's Finals MVP ... that guy really bugs me. There are certain players that just irritate me on sight, and he's one of them.

Really love what I've been seeing out of 'Quis over the last few games ... he seems like a different player this year ... much more confident and aggressive, and that's what we need from him!

Nice to see Jermaine taking some charges ... he's done pretty well defensively of late ... wish he could get some "O" going.

Well, The Truth did his best to counteract the let-down of losing KG so early in the game, but it was clear that the team was completely disheartened by it, beyond the point of recovery.

Nice things from J.O., 'Quis, Ray, B2, and even Von Wafer, though, so not a complete loss. Here's praying that Big Ticket's MRI is negative tomorrow, and that it's just a strained muscle, (though I'm also worried what this may do to his confidence level).

We need this guy at his best by playoff time. (Crosses fingers, throws salt over shoulder, crosses himself, knocks on wood three times, etc.).
