They could have addressed this during the summer after he went to the Heat. Instead this story is out as LeBron comes back, its not revenge its a stupid PR move.

Gilbert needs to move on and try to make the Cavs a desirable franchise, constantly attacking James will only hurt him in the eyes of future players.

The Timberwolves got in trouble for this and lost like 4 draft picks I think and it was pretty devestating
Completely different thing.

The timberwolves made an under the table deal to circumvent the salary cap, and put it in writing iirc.

Oh I see what you're saying. Sorta the way the Jets suddenly discovered the jen Sterger thing the week before they were due to play Farve in Monday Night Football.  Well.  I guess this is part of the life Lebron chose.  I think it will pale in comparison to how he will be treated during the game.

Wow. The Timberwolves are really dumb.

Can tampering charges really go all that far when the Cavs signed and traded him?

Yes they were, and they made the deal with Joe Smith.....

KG deserved a better organization when he was a young player, I'm glad he got to come to Boston. Better late than never.

Yes if Riley or someone from Miami talked to him before he was a free agent.

It goes beyond even that. I'm pretty sure the owner mentioned it in passing during an interview of some type.
