Neither Wright, Von Wafer, nor Marquis for that matter is going to help this team when it matters, aka the playoffs. Out of the 3, Daniels would be the only one getting minutes, and not many of them either.

Lets be honest here, Wright and Von are garbage time players. We dont need to be worried about either one of them unless someone gets injured.
The role of the 15th guy on the roster is to help us for the playoffs by not having the top of the rotation play 40 minutes per game for the remaining 66 regular season games. Nothing more, nothing less. We are not going to sign a player this season that will be good enough to crack the 9-man playoff rotation, one way or the other.

When you compare Wafer and Wright, there is no argument that Wright is the better player: he is a stronger defender, started 50+ games for a good team in Dallas 2 seasons ago, and has been spot starter for most of the rest of his career. Moreover, he addresses a need we have better.

we don't need antoine wright. at this time, we're in need of another big man considering we technically dont have a healthy center. (shaq, jo, perk, erden are all nursing injuries and will definitely not be able to play the entire season). we're also short on PGs now considering rondo's banged up and delonte is out for a while. if nate goes down, we are depleted in at the point guard position.

I wouldnt make a change to our roster right now.. I would give avery bradley AND wafer minutes at the guard positions to relieve rondo... ideally it would be nice to cut harangody to free up a roster spot but i dont think that's possible...
