Survived that.  Here's hoping Rondo's ready for Friday.

Not easy.  C's could have stayed complacent like with OK and Raptors, but didn't.  Good win given the circumstances --  lethargic first half, terrible shooting and 2 guards out.

Nice work Cs!

Shaq was amazing.

I'm still devastated about Delonte. Poor guy.

See you guys later.

looks like i tuned in just time! Jameer Nelson owned the Heat in 3 consecutive plays with a jumpshot, a layup, and a block on Lebron James that ignited a fast break.

The performance wasn’t picturesque, but a win is a win. Hopefully Rondo returns Friday

Survived that.  Here's hoping Rondo's ready for Friday.

According to Forsberg he is doubtful for Friday. Either way, the Celtics better send a message early to the Raptors that Sunday was a fluke. I'm talking 12 minutes of Wafer, a Bradley sighting, productive minutes from BBD, and some Harangody cheers type of message.

I want more of the killer-instinct in Atlanta than the lackadaisical efforts we gave against OKC in the Garden.

Once Rondo comes back we shouldn't miss West all that much.

I just want our best 12 healthy going into April-May-June.
CELTICS 2024

Q's report out Celtics 89 (11-4), Nets 83(5-10)

The Celtics played better than the final score indicated. They had to play uphill from early in the 2nd Q to midway in the 4th. The defense and rebounding were for the most part good except for that awful bench stint early in the 2nd qtr.

NJ would never quit even when the Celtics got up by 9 with 2 min left.

Terrible injury for Delonte West and this will hurt our cause in trying to obtain best record and HCA in the 2011 playoffs.

New Jersey has been out west once so their record is probably somewhat deflated.

Not sure I want to see the Jolly Green Giant grind away at 30 to 35 minutes a night. But Doc does not have a lot options available with Perkins and Jermaine out and the Beast of Erdin losing his confidence.

Baby had a tough outing dealing with that tall quick PF and Brook Lopez. He has never shined against the Nets

Celtics did well tonight despite the final score.

Happy Thanksgiving

If they're not healthy in April-May-June, then they're not our best.

Five bucks says JO plays in the playoffs, does poorly, and then says afterwards he was hurt...just like last year.

Good thing we have other players (getting paid much less) to pick up his slack.

With Rondo's nagging injuries it really hurts to lose West for any period of time.

My bigger worry is that this will keep him from playing to his full potential for the C's this year. We all saw how Daniels never got back to playing well after his early season injury.
