The list of potential candidates is out. I thought it might be fun to try and predict the East and West teams. I believe the starters are voted on by the fans, so take that into consideration. There are two guards, two forwards, and a center. Then the reserves are voted on by coaches (and maybe players?). Go ahead and prognosticate your starters and reserves. “Being a Celtic is, every decision you make is about the team. Every cut you make is about the team. Every pass you make is about the team. You take yourself out of it. It’s not for everyone. If you don’t want to win, don’t want to play team basketball, and it’s more about you then you’re probably not a Celtic." Doc 2010

My completely biased (and totally unrealistic) picks  8)

East:  The Celtics starting five

West: L. Scola, B. Griffin, S. Curry, M. Ellis and M. Gasol

I'd vote for Durant (my favorite non-Celtic) but he's a lock and, of course, no Lakers in there  :-*

  • TRANSFORMATION INTO CHAMPION COMPLETE!!!
Eastern Conference

Starters: Rose + Wade + LeBron + Garnett + Dwight
Reserves: Rondo + Joe + Pierce + Amare + Bogut + Granger + Horford

Western Conference

Starters: Paul + Kobe + Durant + Pau + Yao
Reserves: Nash + Deron + Melo + Dirk + Duncan + Ginobili + Roy

Seeing your West Coast Starters really makes me want to see Pau Gasol and Yao Ming on the same team so that if they can ever convert an alley oop together, some announcer can yell YAO-PAU!!!!!

I picked Celtics starting five then for the west:

Carl Landry, Al Jefferson, Corey Brewer, Baron Davis, Yao Ming. ;D

Then I wrote in Ronald Davis. :D

My vote:
EAST: Rondo, Ray, PP, KG, Shaq

WEST: R. Westbrook, C. Billups, K. Durant,  AL Jefferson, Okafor

And how the hell Paul Millsap isn't on the list? Shame you, NBA.

I picked all C's in the east except for Bogut (have to give the fellow countryman some support).

I went with CP3, DWill, KD, Gasol and Kaman in the west.
