I can understand where Lebron is comming from, while many think its because Lebron can't go 44mins a game because of the strain to his body, i doubt thats it.

When you hear someone like Clyde Drexler talk about going with the US nationals a season, then comming home to a season starting up and feeling completly mentaly drained for another long season, i think that holds merit.

Take a look at Kevin Durant fx, he hasnt been hitting on all cylinders so far, same with Chauncy Billups.

I think in the case of Lebron the stress of the offseason and the way things has been going so far, will leave him mentaly worn down.

Nah, I think he was whining because he lost.

In general 40+ minutes for any player that needs to "do it all" for a team....it is TOO MUCH.

Ray Allen can play 40+ minutes, but all he is doing for us is running and shooting....mostly.

I think Lebron should dominate the ball less, let Wade dominate the ball some and the 44 minutes that Lebron plays will be an "easier" 44 minutes.
If that's the case, why didn't he complain last season?

He played 18 games over 42 minutes last season, including 2 of 3 vs the Celtics in losses.

He played over 40 minutes in 29 games last season, over 38% of the games he played.

Seems like he wants to get rid of Spoelstra - and this is the 1st shot.

He left the Cavs didn't he?

I think Lebron envisioned playing with Wade and Bosh...life would be "easier" so he wouldn't have to "be the man" all the time he was on the court etc.
