Of the guy's listed, I'd go with Obama, although I know George H. W. Bush was a heck of an athlete.

Historically, though, I'm taking Abe Lincoln.  Sure, it would take him awhile to get used to the game, but he was the tallest U.S. President (6'4"), and he was a very good athlete (a wrestler, I believe). 

Also, don't sleep on Gerald Ford.  He's in the upper third of height (6'0"), and he was an All-American athlete.

I didn't think of it in terms of being in their prime. I mean that is different.  In that case Taft would surely be horrid.  I'm sure Washington with his rotten teeth could just breathe on people to get the defense to sag
