How do you think Gilbert Arenas will do this year?

       ppg   ast
04/05  25 and 5
05/06  29 and 6
06/07  28 and 6
07/08  ---------(13 total games injured)
08/09  ---------(2 total games)
10/11  22 and 7-(only playing 32 total games due to gun charge)

I guess he looks good so far. heres the link http://www.realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/69191/20100920/arenas_looking_good_healthy/

I was suprised he could put up 22 and 7 after being mostly out of the league for 2 straight years. I think he could have a big year possibly lead the league in scoring. Thoughts?

  • You say when......
Well, a lot of guys might like him for his scoring history....me, i wish they would post more of the guys for the %...Attempts, vs actuals...I HATE gunners, chuckers....AI..a classic ball hog...also a scoring champ....The Celtics were or are the only TEAM I have seen in the last 5-20 years that play REAL team ball. 6-7 guys with 10-20 points.....actual assists..ect....Nothing against the post, just a thought. Gilbert can shoot very well though...those long distant 3 pointers.......!

His percentages aren’t very good... .426 on average, .453 being his best, .392 being his worst.

But Agent #9 has been on some bad teams that needed him to score 40 to win, i’ll give him a little break there.

I’m not really a Arenas fan either but something makes me feel like he’s gonna tear it up this year. (it might be this video)

I think if you look at Washington's record over that time, you'll see Gilbert's #'s were not to the betterment of the team, at least last season.

11-21 through 32 games.

they should of traded Gilbert

Anyone remeber when cavs drafted Lebron. They could'nt of traded ricky davis any quicker!
Reason being, you don't surround number 1 draft picks with players only concerned with numbers and guns. or in rickys case cornrows

Honestly I don't think it will matter as much since John Wall will be having his breakout rookie season.

John Wall, the star point guard from the University of Kentucky who doesn't play for the Celtics? Maybe y'all have hear of 'em?

  • Rondo = Good
20+ points
3-4 assists
1-2 rebounds
...tons of points given up on defense.
