I understand the times, but there is NO WAY a referee should ever be mic'd up...  never.  The best refs/umps are those that you can't remember their name when the game was over.  The NBA has, IMO, had the most flamboyant refs (Earl Strom was a showman) and I believe it's a dangerous line to cross.

Sheed had a problem, no doubt.  His mouth and attitude did him in many times.  But when you see this video you come to see just how much of this is PERSONAL, and it shouldn't be.  A ref has to show maturity in the face of stupidity, and if he just walked away then Sheed would just turn around and do the same.
