  • Let them hate, as long as they fear
At no time during the life of this franchise have we had a center y ) of the caliber of Shaquille(however diminished now. Never before. At his best, Perk could never wear Shack's shoes, not even today.
And someday in the midst of time,
When they ask you if you knew me
Remember that you were a friend of mine

Is there any concrete evidence that there is already a chemistry problem between Shaq and Perkins or are we trying to create a chemistry problem where there is none, as we speak? If there is evidence, I would like to see the basis of that assumption. A matter of order.
Even if there were, it wouldn't matter. They would form a new relationship based on their now being teammates.

A healthy Perk of course is more valuable today than a 38yo Shaq.  Ya think a healthy Perk would have been reduced to the vet minimum, begging for a 2nd year if he were a FA this summer?

Also, I think Bill Russell was a pretty good center for his day.

KG and Perk got into it before they were teammates.

They'll be fine.

I think come the second half and then ultimately the playoffs, every big sans Garnett has to EARN their playing time. That goes for all three centers and BBD too (JO can back up KG).

Honestly, I don't care who you are (Perk), who you were (Shaq), or how much money you make (Jermaine). Whoever compliments KG's game the best should get the most minutes in crunch time.

I trust Doc with this.

I don't see how its a chemistry problem.  Perk is not playing soon due to the injury and therefore has to live with it.  Has it ever been "Perk's" team?  No.

We will adapt and do what is best for the team.  This team isn't Miami selfish punks, they will do what is best to win.

as someone else pointed out, KG and perk had some beef before they were teammates. now, they're pretty tight.
