It's going to be a great game.

If I had to put money down I'd roll with the heat, though.
I seem to remember people saying the same thing last year about opening night in Cleveland because the Cavs had landed Shaq and almost never lost there the year before.

How did that work out again? That's right, Boston 95, Cleveland 89.

Last year has little to do with this year. And I think you know better to compare adding a washed up Shaq to adding a prime Lebron/Bosh. I haven't written in stone that the Celtics will lose, I just acknowledge that the Heat are and should be the favorites. I'm not into Bravado I'm not going to say something I don't believe is true for the sake of others. I calls em like I sees em Nick.

Wade, LeBron and Bosh can do an awful lot, but I need to see what Miami can get out the 5 spot before calling them the favorites.  It's almost inevitable that the Heat are going to be playing either Udonis Haslem or Bosh major minutes at center, and I don't think that's going to be pretty.

Let me just clarify that I do think the Celtics have a very good chance of winning. I wouldn't feel comfortable with betting on the game, but I'm just saying if I had to be I would choose the Heat. I'm not sure Pierce and Ray can get it going against Lebron and Wade, but I feel Wade and Lebron can get it going the other way around. If we can exploit other match ups I think we can definitely win, but either way it's a difficult game in Miami's favor. The match ups just favor the heat, Just my opinion.

If the Heat are favored I'd bet the Celtics plus the points.
