Although I think Zaza is a good player I doubt Danny would even answer the phone if the trade involved taking on Marvin William's atrocious contract. 

If Dampier is still available I think the Hawks should make a run at him or try to convince the Magic to trade Gortat to them.  I haven't looked at both rosters but I doubt the Magic will trade in the East anyway.  Plus they would want to unload Pietras and Atlant would try to unload Williams which would be counter productive for Orlando

Marvin Williams would be nice in Orlando. Himself and Mickael Pietrus would be one hell of a defensive partnership on the wings.

The Magic would need to find a way to replace Vince Carter first though. Players like Marvin Williams are not as valuable without those creative offensive players alongside them.

True but Orlando wouldn't want another expensive SF hanging around.  They only do this if they unload the contract of VC which Atlanta, as well as any GM not named Kahn, isn't willing to take on.


If Atlanta really wanted to unload Marvin Williams and get a center they could trade Josh Smith, MW, and ZaZa to Orlando for Rashard Lewis and Gortat and maybe draft picks and the rights to Fran Vasquez.  Of course I'm not sure who hangs up first on this phone call.
