Delonte may be waived before his contract is guaranteed.

Minnesota will waive West before his 2010-11 salary becomes fully guaranteed next week. West has $500,000 worth of salary protection for next season.

He almost certainly will be, Delonte is going to have an opportunity to latch on with a playoff team.

Count me among those that want Delonte back. Let's not forget that in the 2009 playoffs, he was the 2nd best/most consistent player after LBJ. And even with his off the court issues last season and losing his starting job to Anthony Parker, he still came in and contributed off the bench.

He'd be a legit backup for Ray because depending on a rookie in AB and injury-prone Daniels is just not a solid plan moving forward.

I really wonder if what Danny expects of Bradley.  If he expects him to contribute right away, I could see Danny laying off West in favor of someone with some more size (as there's no way that West and Bradley will both get minutes).  But if he sees Bradley as more of a project, West could be handy.

So now they have Flynn, Ridnour, and Telfair. The PG carousel of KAHN continues.

If they get Rubio and grab one more PG from the NBDL...And can pry Don Nelson from the Warriors....Imagine the concoction Nelson could come up with with 5 PGs

Delonte still has friends on the Cs and would be part of one of the top organizations in sports. If he's sign a 1-year deal, what's thr risk? His ability would far outweigh his price (presumably), and he could always be let go.

Would love to have Delonte off our bench.  He can play.

Too bad he's a nutjob.
Before a game on Christmas against the Pacers, Bird told Chuck Person that he had a present for him. During the game, Bird shot a 3-pointer in front of Person. Immediately after releasing the ball, Bird said to Person, "Merry F!#*ing Christmas!" and then the shot went in.

  • 'Cause there ain't no fours!
He's just a player.
And he's gonna play with whatever they give him.
If we gonna play with a sock, we play with a sock.

I'm on board.

I'm all for the 1 year cheap deal for him.  Still a fan of his game.

Kahn continues to make moves.  I can't remember a GM being the topic of this much conversation.  Mostly bad but often people are just wondering what he's thinking.  It's like we're playing checkers and he's playing backgammon.
