Seems to me besides getting Jermaine Oneal (which I still believe will prove to be an excellent signing)

We have exactly who we had last year  minus Perk for half the year and TA and Scal (I think).  Plus the rookies.

I can't say that's an improvement.

Still think we need another big.  (Hoping for Boone or Dampier after being waived at the minimum I think those are our best options not through trade)  as for a wing I don't know.

Anybody else think getting Marquis Daniels may help our chances of signing Josh Howard (their best friends)?  I gotta say not sure I'm sold on the acquisition of those two as our wings as their games are so similar and I'd really like to put a guy with good 3-point range and a little more length next to Marquis Daniels, but I guess we could do worse.

Something's gotta give though if we go into the season with what we've signed and the rookies we are at a deficiency in what could be a very competitive eastern conference.

Getting Jermaine is a very big deal if we get something out of 'Sheed's contract (even if it is 'Sheed himself).

I'm guessing DA isn't done though. Another wing (Rudy, McCants, Howard?) and backup center is needed.
